Toasted Oak dominoes, long grain French oak. These are a top of the line product used for ageing spirits or imparting oak flavours to beer or wine. They carry none of the harsh tannins that are introduced with end grain chips or chunks. The French Oak Dominoes are used where the strong vannilins and maple flavours imparted by the American Oak is not desired. For ageing spirits such as Cognac's, fruit brandies and fine rums. Only 2kg of dominoes will fit in a 3kg satchel. There is no free shipping.

    Brilliant stuff

I love these things over the overly priced rubbish you find at LHS. I cant fault them and if I was forced to make one fault complaint about them is it would be their inconsistent size....some long 5 inch pieces and some 2 inch pieces. Other than that they are uniformly toasted and just an all round great product. They provide a very rich dark colour for my rums

    Excellent Product

I am more than satisfied with the results achieved in ageing spirit, the flavours imparted by the oak certainly enhance and mellow the final taste of the distilled product. A deep rich colour is also achieved.

More subtle than wam bang in your face taste of the American oak. Makes a lovely brandy with smooth vanilla notes and a lovely aroma. Works well with rum too.

A high quality oak domino better than a lot of others available on the market and much cheaper than your local homebrew shop
